05 - What do I owe others?

Today we will be finishing up the module on ethical frameworks by discussing Catholic Social Teaching. The learning goals for this lecture are the following:
- Gain a deeper understanding of Catholic Social Teaching, sometimes called Catholic Social Tradition (CST).
- Understand 'The Common Good' and how it relates to individual goods.
- Understand how the dignity of work may be supported through the development of technology.

After watching the videos and completing the reading for class consider the following questions:
- How might work be a part of human dignity? How might these ideas fit into professional engineering ethics as outlined in the first readings?
- In what ways is technology supporting the dignity of work?
- Can information technologies be used as a tool to support CST?
Dialogue Groups:
Make sure that groups have formed and members are listed in the spreadsheet. (Group size: 5)
By the end of this week make a folder for your group in the class' google folder and upload a document containing notes for the meetings each week. After each meeting upload, the meeting notes to that folder.
